HIP Developments

HIP Developments is a real estate developer that prides itself on its honesty, integrity, and pride. Founded in 1982 by Bernard Melloul and David Blamey, who were classmates at Conestoga College, the company began as Melloul-Blarney Construction with an office in Kitchener on Bordon Ave. Initially, the company focused on fixed-price bids for public and private construction projects. Since then, Melloul-Blarney has grown to become one of the largest construction companies in Southern Ontario, having completed over 750 residential, institutional, recreational, commercial, and industrial buildings with an estimated value exceeding $1.5 billion dollars.

Today, the Melloul-Blarney Group is a fully integrated, multi-disciplinary real estate development and construction company that embodies the principles of honesty, integrity, and pride of workmanship. Operating under the name HIP Developments Inc., a division of Melloul-Blarney Construction Inc., we offer vertically-integrated development and construction management services for a wide range of real estate projects. As the Development Manager, HIP oversees the entire development process, coordinates the efforts of the diverse development team, and serves as the central hub for communication and decision making.
